Responsibilities

Ensure that the journal's content is objective and innovative. Recommend and play a decision-making role in approving the selection of associate and consultant editors. Reject manuscripts suspected of plagiarizing, ghostwritten, or published elsewhere. Act as the handling editor of submissions from members of the editorial board, ensuring that the peer review is transparent. The position lasts four years (2023-2027). As per the statutory provision.

Responsibilities

Periodically review, plan, and execute the journal's Editorial Sustainability Plan. Executive editors should preferably be two to five members, including the Editor in Chief, scientific editors, and at least two experienced ABO editors. To speed up the screening process for new submissions, the last two will be responsible for the first screening, considering the journal's scope and minimum requirements for clarity, scientific merit, and national/international relevance and impact.
